Why It Matters
The cheapest time to cut brush is before it becomes brush. Grass and weeds cost little to mow; three-year-old sweetgum and privet cost real money to mulch. A regular cut is what keeps your land in the cheap column.
There is also a line where bushhogging stops being the right tool. When growth is past chest height and turning woody, we will say so and quote the mulching pass that resets the clock instead of beating up a mower on it.
